And if you forget to switch the electric blanket off and it gets too hot, the overheat protection function will kick in and shut off power instantly. Best of all, the electric blanket is machine washable. Simply unplug it (make sure to detach cable from the electric blanket as well) and toss it into the washing machine for a good clean wash.
